If the mammalian eye was the result of intelligent design, then the designer must not have been very intelligent. What designer would place the detectors behind the supporting tissue, and include a large blind spot in the middle? But natural selection explains it quite well.

I have often hear the argument that there are no transitional fossils. The truth is, there are numerous examples. However, every time a new one is found, the bible-thumpers jump for joy and then claim that there are now two gaps where before there was only one.

Your logic never ceases to amaze me. Evolution is indifferent to death so it must be wrong? How is this an argument? Gravity is indifferent to death as well. I guess that gravity is wrong too.

And your assertion that not killing or stealing are christian values is just plain insulting and without merit. I am an atheist and I think that it is wrong to kill or steal. These are social values, not religious ones. Civilizations that do not have similar values and rules would not last long.

I do not begrudge you from having your own beliefs and opinions. And I support your right to voice these opinions and beliefs as long as you do not use lies and falsehoods to support these opinions. But I draw the line at you trying to impose your beliefs on others.
